Shady Financial Dealings


Gi-hun meets with his childhood friend, Sang-woo, who is now wanted by the police for embezzlement. Before the first game, a staff member introduces Sang-woo as a former team leader in an investment bank, who stole his clients' money and used it for his own benefit in the stock market, losing ₩650 million. Sang-woo later admits that he lost ₩6 billion and has used family assets as financial collateral.
